Travis Reveal Stage Fright Following Noel Gallagher Attack

Fran Healy from Travis has revealed that he no longer feels as safe on stage, following the attack on Noel Gallagher earlier this month.

Noel was left with three broken ribs after being pushed over during a performance in Canada, and now Healy and his bandmates, who have often invited fans to join Travis on stage in the past, are thinking about scrapping the idea for their own safety.

"It was odd to see Noel getting pushed over because, when you are in Oasis, you have about 20 bodyguards," Healy said to the Daily Record. "How did that guy get through?"

And Travis guitarist Andy Dunlop didn't feel any more confident than the frontman: "It gave us a real fright. You usually feel safe on stage." He said.
