The self-portrait of Kate Moss, that was inscribed by former boyfriend Pete Doherty, failed to sell at auction today (September 27) despite there being a lot of interest and coverage of the item.
The painting was drawn by the supermodel using lipstick and the Babyshambles frontman then signed the picture with his own blood, writing the caption "Who needs blood when you've got lipstick."
A reserve price of £40,000 was not met say Lyon & Turnbull, although bids were placed.
