Nate Dogg is now in a stable condition, after he suffered a second stroke this week.
When news of Dogg's new stroke emerged, it was claimed by sources that he was struggling to breath on his own.
However, TMZ now reports that Nate - real name Nathaniel Dawayne Hale - has responded positively to treatment. Hale is apparently only using a ventilator to assist breathing.
When Nate suffered his first stroke in December 2007, it left him paralyzed down the left side of his body. Fans had hoped he would make a full recovery.
