T-Pain, Soulja Boy, Ne-Yo Win At BMI Urban Awards

T-Pain has been branded "Songwriter of the Year" at the BMI Urban Awards.
The singer-songwriter was awarded the prize last night (September 4) and he was also credited as producer of the year, alongside Kanye West and J.R. Rotem.
Other winners on the night included Soulja Boy, Polow Da Don, Rodney Jerkins and Ne-Yo.
A number of the artists who won are due to release new albums shortly: Ne-Yo's 'Year Of The Gentleman' (September 16), T-Pain's 'Thr33 Ringz' (October 28) and Soulja Boy's 'iSouljaBoy' (release date unknown)
