After agreeing that there is a link between violent computer games and crime, songwriter Noel Gallagher has given the thumbs up to the latest craze in video gaming, Guitar Hero.
Previously, the Oasis guitarist has been quoted as saying: "If kids are sitting up all night smoking super skunk and they become so desensitised to crime because they're playing these video games, it's really, really scary,"
Preferring to give a child a plastic guitar than a plastic gun to play with, Noel told Music Radar: "If it puts little plastic guitars into kids' hands and fires their imaginations, I think that's a good thing. It's harmless fun, innit."
"I'd rather that genre of video games than somebody getting their f***ing head chopped off with a samurai sword while getting f***** by a goblin up the a*** with a laser. Do you know what I mean?"
