Ne-Yo To Get Compensation From R. Kelly Tour

A concert promoter for R. Kelly has been ordered to pay $700,000 (around £394,900) in compensation to R&B star Ne-Yo, after he was dropped from Kelly's 2007 tour.

According to allegations, Ne-Yo was due to support R. Kelly on his tour, but was removed from the line up after Kelly worried that he would be upstaged by the 'Closer' singer.

Ne-Yo filed a law suit against the promoter of the tour, Rowe Entertainment, and now an L.A Superior Court judge has ordered the company to pay the singer compensation.

R. Kelly was not named in the law suit and denies the claims that Ne-Yo was dropped for the alleged reasons.
