Duffy Slams Novelty Songs Entering The Charts

Duffy has spoken out about what really happened when she met John Lydon at the Mojo awards... And also why she hates children's novelty songs.

Speaking to Metro, the welsh singer told her side of the rumours that the Sex Pistols singer told her to "F*** off", making her cry.

"He was intoxicated and I was overly friendly - it's as simple as that," she said. "I didn't go home crying with my lunchbox and my award, like a bullied kid at school."

"I just walked past him and got stung by his strange temper. I'm aware you have to be careful but my guard was down."

Duffy also told the paper that she hates tracks such as Bob The Builder and Crazy Frog getting into the charts.

"Those novelty songs really p*** me off," she told Metro. "I know they're for kids and I should be more forgiving but I can't tolerate all that breezing through the airwaves."
