Moby Slams Musicians For Being Too Concerned With Money

Moby has slammed fellow musicians, saying they need to focus on making music and be less concerned about earning more money.

"A lot of my friends in the music industry have conversations about how to distribute music - and it tends to centre on how to make money," the DJ and producer told the Daily Record.

"I think the focus should be on the artistry and creativity, not focusing on the commercial side of things." Added Moby. "Musicians should concentrate on making records and not be too concerned about how people listen."

"The point of producing music isn't whether audiences will buy it or listen to it for free. I might be naive, but I think, if you make a good record, people will want to listen regardless of the medium it's delivered by."

Moby released his newest album 'Last Night' earlier this year.
