Arctic Monkeys Working With Josh Homme On New Material

Arctic Monkeys will head out to Joshua Tree in the US next month, to record new songs and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age will produce the sessions.

"I think it's going to work out great," Homme told NME. "They want to submerge themselves in a place that's the opposite of where they're from and what they're used to."

"I think we're just going to start by doing a couple of tracks. No pressure. The goal is to make something that they dig so much that everyone else can too."

Homme also said that the tracks were not necessarily going to be used on the group's next album, as Arctic Monkeys were just experimenting at this time.
