The Zutons Deny Mark Ronson Snub Claims

Dave McCabe - singer with The Zutons - has rubbished claims that he once snubbed Mark Ronson, when the pair first met.

"Apparently, I'd come across him once before - but I was drunk so I don't really remember it," McCabe tells the Daily Star.

"The thing is, I think Ronson sometimes says things to make them sound more exciting. He told someone that the first time he tried to speak to me I walked away. That's not true."

Ronson has enjoyed considerable success with his cover version of Zutons' song 'Valerie', which he re-recorded with Amy Winehouse.
