Dizzee Rascal wants teenagers to drop their knives and end knife culture.
The UK rapper is no stranger to knives himself after being stabbed five times in Ayia Napa during 2003, as he puts it: "Where I come from it's pretty standard to see this s***, so it all seems normal to me."
But now he wants to see an end to youths carrying weapons and feels they are wasting their time: "The world is a big place and the more bulls*** you do, the more time you are wasting. Think about life a bit more and know there is more out there for you. It's all there if you want it."
Dizzee Rascal moved away from his East London home of Bow after the success of his debut album 'Boy In Da Corner', which not only won the Mercury Music Prize, but has since sold in excess of 250,000 copies.
"I knew it was good to get a name - it became my life, it became my bread and butter - it was my X Factor." The recent chart-topper said of his new found status.
