Chris Martin - Coldplay Don't Trash Their Hotel Rooms

Chris Martin has revealed Coldplay aren't your usual rock 'n' roll band and you won't find them causing any trouble.

The singer discussed the cliche of trashing your hotel room while on tour, saying he used to be a cleaner himself so can sympathise with those who are left to clean the mess.

"When you're a cleaner and you walk into a trashed room, it's truly annoying," Martin told The Sun. "All you want to do is go on your tea break - and you get faced with that."

Martin also gave a message to any would-be rock stars: "Spare a thought for the poor schmuck cleaning the room."
