Cassie Talks About Her Second Album

Cassie has spoken about her second album - the sequel to her 2006 self-titled debut.

"You're definitely going to see more independence", the singer tells MTV. "On [this album], I got to work with different people and [learn] what their habits were and what works well with me."

"So you'll see a difference in vocals, a little bit more personality." Cassie continued, "And it's definitely a sensual album."

The first single from the untitled record (which some sites are claiming will be titled 'Connecticut Fever') has already been released this month in the form of 'Official Girl', which features Lil Wayne.

Speaking of the song, Cassie adds: "It was a great first single for me because it said something. I fell in love with records like 'Irreplaceable' (by Beyonce), where you could emotionally attach yourself to the record as soon as you heard it."

"I didn't want something so vague and so clubby, because I wanted people to see me as a woman with something to say."
