The mother of 50 Cent's son has accused the rapper of trying to burn them to death after their Long Island mansion was engulfed in flames.
50's ex, Shaniqua Tompkins has claimed, "He tried to kill me and his own child", following the suspicious fire which destroyed the house in Dix Hills where she lives with their 10-year-old son, Marquise.
Tompkins has brought a $50 million lawsuit against Fiddy, and she says he had promised to give her some of his earnings and that she could keep the home. Two months ago, a judge ruled that the home belongs to 50 Cent and ordered Tompkins to leave but then another judge said she could stay until the lawsuit was sorted out.
Last week the pair had a violent argument, about which one of 50's representatives says, "My office got trashed. It was very heated." Tompkins claims that during the fight the rapper told her, "He was going to have someone visit me."
"Who do I think did it? Curtis Jackson [50 Cent]". She continued: "My kids are in the house. Who would try to kill your own kids? He's supposed to be all about being a gangster... that's not a gangster, that's a coward."
According to Tompkins, the fire started around 4 in the morning when "someone threw a [Molotov] cocktail" into the house. Tompkins, her son and daughter, sister, aunt and cousin were all in the house at the time.
The group attempted to escape downstairs but were blocked by flames and had to climb out of a bedroom window onto a roof. Luckily, an off-duty cop was passing by and helped to catch the children. All six were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
The local Fire Chief said, "The fire was definitely suspicious because of the volume of the fire and how fast it spread." 50 Cent was filming a movie in Louisiana at the time of the fire and police have said they don't have any suspects at the moment.
