U2 Warn Fans Not To Buy Tickets For New Shows

U2 have warned fans not to purchase tickets for new shows, because they don't even have plans to tour yet.
A number of dates were leaked after months of rumours that hinted the Irish rock stars would be playing a residency at the O2 Arena in London.
However, U2 have posted the following message to fans via their official website:
"Just a note to correct reports that tickets are becoming available for planned U2 shows."
"The reports are mistaken, there are no tour dates for the band at the moment - so please don't buy tickets for U2 shows you see advertised."
