Beatles Tape Of Unreleased Material Is Discovered

A tape featuring rare and unreleased music from The Beatles has been discovered, and will be now going to auction next month.
A man found the tape in the loft of his father in Liverpool and the material lasts roughly 30 minutes in length. The recording includes unreleased versions of hit songs, as well as laughter and banter between the group.
It's thought the songs were recorded in 1964 for BBC TV show Top Gear. The tape will now go to auction in August by Cameo Auctioneers and an estimate suggests the rarity could reach a figure between £8,000 and £12,000.
