Nas To Deliver Petition Protesting Against Fox News "Racism"

Later today, Nas will be delivering a 600,000-signature petition to Fox New's headquarters in Manhattan, demanding the network stops "it's racist smears against the Obamas and other black Americans."
The petition has been organised by MoveOn.org and Color of Change, who described some examples of what they say is racism:
"After Senator Obama gave his wife a 'pound' in front of the cameras, a Fox anchor called it a 'terrorist fist jab.' Last week a Fox News on-screen graphic called Michelle Obama 'Obama's baby mama.'"
MoveOn.org also said, "FOX must stop injecting racism, prejudice, and fear into our political dialogue. We intend to hold FOX, its advertisers, and its personalities accountable for FOX's attempts to smear the Obamas."
It's not the first time Nas has attacked the network; the track "Sly Fox", off his new album, "Untitled", takes Fox to task over what he says is "biased truth" in their reporting.
MoveOn.org is now urging people to sign a new petition thanking Senator Obama for not inviting Fox News on his Middle East trip, while bringing news anchors from other networks with him.
