Girls Aloud will star in a brand new TV soap, based on the music industry say reports.
Named 'The Secret World Of Sam King', the series will be broadcast on social networking site Bebo and will be based inside their record label Universal.
The main character is based on the real life persona of X Factor judge and pop mogul Simon Cowell, who spots new musical talent.
"They're all really excited - it promises to be a lot of fun." A friend of Girls Aloud tells The Daily Star. "It's no secret that several of the girls harbour ambitions to get in to acting and this will prove a great showcase."
It's also claimed the band will be joined by a few familiar faces, such as Amy Winehouse, Duffy and Razorlight.
"Girls Aloud will be making a tongue-in-cheek debut in Sam King," adds an insider at Universal Music. "The girls love stuff like Bebo and are really looking forward to filming."
