Jay-Z And 40/40 Club Hit With Class-Action Lawsuit

Jay-Z and his 40/40 Club have been hit by a class-action lawsuit say reports, after being approved by a New York City judge.

The New York Post says former employee Celeste Williams is the plaintiff and she claims the club did not pay for her overtime she worked, nor did they pay her minimum wage.

A judge has now ordered the 40/40 Club to turn over a full list of names of employees from the last three years.

Williams' lawyer Maimon Kirschenbaum is quoted as saying that he plans to contact hundreds of previous employees to join the lawsuit and that 10-20 former workers were starting to get involved.

It's not known how much the staff - which includes waiters and bartenders - will apply for.
