Shakira To Sign $70 Million Live Nation Deal?

Shakira is reportedly in talks with concert promoters Live Nation for a deal worth an estimated $70 million (£35 million).
If the Colombian pop star does sign on the dotted line, the company will handle her forthcoming tour plans, merchandising and recording rights.
So far Madonna, U2 and Jay-Z have all signed high-profile agreements with Live Nation and it looks like Shakira is the fourth hitmaker the company are after.
However, Shakira still has to release two albums for Sony BMG under her current contract - one English album and one Spanish album.
