The Cool Kids Sign With XL Recordings

The Cool Kids have signed with XL Recording and will now be releasing their debut album 'The Cake Sale' in the UK.
The Chicago-based hip hop duo have already released their 10 track debut 'The Bake Sale' in the U.S. last month, and now the UK edition will surface on 4th August 2008 via C.A.K.E Recordings / Chocolate Industries / XL Recordings.
A limited edition 12" - '88' - will come first on July 28th. The news ties-in with a tour this week, which see The Cool Kids playing four dates before hitting the Wireless Festival on July 3rd.
