Foxy Brown Bench Warrant A Mistake

A bench warrant just issued against Foxy Brown has been retracted, as it has emerged the court was at fault.

The rapper, real name Inga Marchand, was supposed to appear at Brooklyn Supreme Court today (May 6th) to face charges of assaulting her neighbour with a BlackBerry device. However, the recently-freed star failed to attend.

Judge John Walsh then issued the warrant against her - but according to Laura Dilimetin (Brown's lawyer), the court date of May 6th was pushed back until May 8th (this Thursday) and that all parties involved were notified - with the exception of the official court calendar.

Foxy Brown was recently released from Rikers Island Prison.
