LL Cool J Names Exit 13 Release Date

LL Cool J has given a release date for 'Exit 13' - his final album with his long-time home Def Jam.
Cool James will release the album on July 18th, presumably around the same time as a new single. The record's first, 'I Cry', was released this week (May 21st) and includes R&B singer Lil' Mo.
Other names confirmed over the last twelve months to star on 'Exit 13' are Method Man, Jim Jones and Lil' Kim.
In regards to leaving Def Jam, LL Cool J has been more than vocal about his unhappiness with the label - especially while Jay-Z was boss. In his time with the influential hip-hop company, he released 12 albums.
The rapper's last full-lengther, 'Todd Smith', has sold 335,000 copies in the States since being released in 2006.
