Flying Lotus Preps Los Angeles Album

In March we told you how Flying Lotus had signed up with Warp Records, well now we can also unveil details of his first album for the label.
'Los Angeles' is the title of the record (his second full-lengther to date) and a release date of June 9th is being given.

Apparently name-checked by Portishead, Massive Attack and RZA (whom he supported recently on the Bobby Digital tour), Warp say:
"Flying Lotus is a confident talent who's rapidly developing his own sound, pushing it out and experimenting with a strong idea of what he wants to do, but open minded and humble enough to know that where his music ends up might not be what he planned when he started."
