Girls Aloud Force Annie To Drop Song From New Album

Annie has been forced to remove a track from her forthcoming second album 'Don't Stop', by pop group Girls Aloud, say reports.

The track in question is named 'My Love Is Better' and was produced by Brian Higgins of Xenomania fame - the production team behind most of the Girls Aloud back catalogue, including the recent hit singles 'Call The Shots' and Can't Speak French.

However, a source tells Teletext that the song uses backing vocals of the group, which were used without obtaining prior permission:

"The girls can't believe Brian didn't let them know first", says the source. "Basing a song for another artist around the girls' demo vocals is cheeky of him, to put it mildly."

Annie releases 'Don't Stop' in July and will soon release the album's first single 'I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me' (commonly referred to as simple 'Girlfriend').
