Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning Preps Solo Album

Brendan Canning is the latest member of Broken Social Scene to release a solo offshoot album.

'Something For All of Us' will be released in North America on July 22nd, with a UK / European date still being planned. Joining Canning on the recording is bandmate Kevin Drew, who was the first member to release an album as part of the 'Broken Social Scene Presents...' series.

Also making an appearance are Justin Peroff, Andrew Whiteman, Ohad Benchet, Amy Millan (of Stars), James Shaw (of Metric), Jason Collett, Liam O'Neil (The Stills and Land of Talk's Liz Powell.
