Babyshambles' Drew McConnell Working With Stokes Guitarist

Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell has been in the studio with Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes, working on his side-project Helsinki.

McConnell told all in an interview with BBC 6 Music, saying that four songs had been recorded so far, before adding: "If when it's done and I think it sounds good enough, then maybe I'll have a chat to the people at Parlophone and see if they can be bothered to put it out."

Drew also went on to say of the new tracks "Y'know, the sun peeks its furrowed brow though some of the gaps in the clouds here or there."
