Black Kids had major press coverage and blog exposure last year before even releasing a single. Now after the popular I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You, a debut album named 'Partie Traumatic' is in the bag and ready for release in July.
Black Kids worked with producer Bernard Butler (of Suede) on the sessions, which also spawned the next single 'Hurricane Jane' (out on June 23rd in the UK).
Available through Almost Gold on July 7th, our USA cousins have a short wait (until July 22nd) before the Florida natives release it through Columbia in North America.
Those of you who downloaded the free self-distribured 'Wizard Of Ahhhs' EP in August last year, will see that all four of those demos - 'Hit The Heartbrakes', 'I'm Not Gonna Teach...', 'Hurricane Jane', 'I've Underestimated My Charm (Again)' - have made the final version (although these have been re-recorded in the studio, obviously).
Partie Traumatic Tracklisting:
1. Hit the Heartbrakes
2. Partie Traumatic
