Solange Knowles has collaborated with Lil Wayne and Cee-Lo (of Gnarls Barkley fame) on her second album, 'SoL-AngeL and The Hadley Street Dreams'.
The R&B singer, who last released an album in 2003 ('Solo Star') has also been produced by Raphael Saddiq, Jack Splash, Soul Shock and Pharrell Williams - the latter worked on the record's first single 'I Decided'.
Solange speaks of her chance to work with Cee-Lo, "I literally had to beg Cee-Lo to listen to my music but once he did he signed on immediately. We wrote and recorded [the tracks] 'T.O.N.Y' and 'Sandcastle Disco' that same week."
Elsewhere on the album, Solange Knowles has worked with vocalists Estelle, Bilal and Floetry's Marsha Ambrosius. SoL-AngeL and The Hadley Street Dreams is released in the US on August 26th - a UK release is unknown at present.
