T.I. Banned From Giving School Talks

T.I. (real name Clifford Harris Jr.) has been banned from giving a speach to school kids as part of his community service.

The rapper was supposed to talk to students at two metro-Atlanta school districts, however officials prevented this from happening due to recent gang activity involving students, as well as the death of a student in recent times.

There is no permanent ban laid upon T.I. at the Cobb County school, but officials say timing for the speach was off. However, The Fulton Country school district say that due to his gun conviction, the rapper is banned indefinitely.

The community service is part of Harris Jr's punishment for pleading guilty to possessing unregistered machine guns and silencers. After a court hearing he was sentenced to 1,500 hours of community service and must serve a year behind bars starting in 2009.
