The Charlatans & Horrors Collaborate On Album Artwork

The Charlatans have enlisted the help of Faris Rotter for the cover of their new album, You Cross My Path.

The Horrors frontman was approached by the band, after Charlatans singer Tim Burgess saw one of his exhibitions and was suitably impressed.

Burgess tells the NME, "I've seen him draw random stuff in his notebook and I also went to one of his exhibitions and bought a couple of his drawings. He's a good artist."

Speaking about the physical release of You Cross My Path - an album that was originally dispensed as a free MP3 download, Burgess adds: "We didn't originally plan that it was going to come out in physical format at all, and we made the album thinking that it was going to come out for free."

"So I just told Faris I wanted it for myself. When we finally told him what it was for we needed it in just a matter of days! But he did it quickly and got it in on time."

The Charlatans will be releasing You Cross My Path through Cooking Vinyl on May 12th.
