Blood Red Shoes drummer Steven Ansell has responded to the comments of Noel Gallagher, where he claimed that Glastonbury Festival hadn't sold-out because Jay-Z was headlining.
Ansell says of Gallagher's remark, "That's complete crap, I call it 'rockism', there's like racism, sexism, rockism. If it doesn't have guitars then it isn't credible. That's bullshit."
"To be honest, I would rather watch Jay-Z than The Verve." continues Steven, "Jay-Z is going to go up there and he's going to be the smoothest dude that's ever walked the stage. It's going to be great."
This week sees Blood Red Shoes release their long awaited debut album, Box Of Secrets - expect our review of the record before the day is out.
