Gravenhurst Prep Double A-Side Single

Gravenhurst are to release a double a-side single in a month's time, featuring some very special artwork.
The download / double 7" single will comprise of completely new recording Nightwatchman's Blues, as well as Farewell, Farewell - a track which first appeared on last year's The Western Lands album (read our review).
The double 7" package will see the vinyls housed in individually handmade covers that are hand-numbered and limited to 1300 copies worldwide.
According to the press blurb: "Each sleeve unfolds into a poster which has been individually handmade by the incredibly talented long-standing Gravenhurst collaborator Thomas Hicks."
"Every sleeve has a unique image which depicts a different wartime scene, printed using hand-cut, handheld wooden blocks. The sleeves will be printed in order from 0001 to 1300, with every single one depicting a slightly different story or part of a story."
The date for this collector's piece? May 5th via Warp Records - a day before Gravenhurst embark on a headline tour.
