The Last Shadow Puppets Play First Live Show

The Last Shadow Puppets have played their first ever UK live show - albeit a very, very brief performance.

Alex Turner and Miles Kane played just two tracks - Meeting Place and Standing Next To Me - at the Lock Tavern in Camden, London.

The night was a party to celebrate the birthday of Remi Nicole, but also doubled-up to raise cash for MS sufferers. Also on the night was a DJ set from Friendly Fires.

At first it was thought Turner and Kane wouldn't play live, as Nicole told the crowd that the pair both had sore throats. However at midnight, they performed the two songs.

The Last Shadow Puppets debut album, The Age Of The Understatement, is released on April 21st.
