Kate Nash Joins New Band

Kate Nash has been working with a new band she has revealed, where she will ditch her usual favoured instrument - the piano - instead opting to play drums.

The singer, who has enjoyed considerable success with her first album Made Of Bricks, is remaining fairly tight-lipped about the project and has not named the other band members.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Kate Nash says of her new found role: "I'm so excited. I really like playing drums because you can get everything out. It's a really great thing to do - just beat it all out. To be able to achieve getting a rhythm is a real challenge."

This week sees Nash also release Happy Merry, as her next single.
