T.I. Freed From House Arrest This Weekend

Rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) will be allowed to leave his house this weekend to enjoy Easter with his family, a federal magistrate judge has ruled.

Since the Atlanta rapper was arrested on October 13th 2007 trying to buy an unregistered machine gun, he has been on house arrest at his home in Henry County and as part of his bond, all visitors must first get approval.

Now Clifford will be able to spend time away from his home on Sunday March 23rd, to go to services at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. However, the judge ruled T.I. must be accompanied by a court-approved monitor and one of his attorneys on the visit, during the hours of 8.30am and 2pm.

The last time Harris asked to celebrate Thanksgiving by having family and friends at his home, the goverment denied it. Meanwhile, T.I. is awaiting firearm charges and he could face up to 10 years in jail as well as a $250,000 fine.
