The BBC has been receiving criticism thanks to an episode of Lily Allen and Friends, where the singer showed video footage of a pupil pulling down the pants of a school teacher.
The video was displayed in the show's "funny internet clips" segment, where Allen remarked "Now it's my favourite, it's 'kegging' – pulling someone's trousers down in public when they least expect it."
Chis Keates (general secretary of NASUWT) has blasted the show saying, "we can only imagine how that teacher must have felt about what happened to him at that time." He also added that the BBC broadcasting the scene has made it "hundreds of times worse".
Andy Brown (teacher and National Teachers Union executive) also vented his disappointment in the footage, adding the broadcast was "completely and utterly irresponsible" of the BBC.
