Busta Rhymes has been given three years probation this week (March 18th) by a New York judge, following charges against the rapper for assaulting both a fan and his ex-driver.
In addition to probation, his sentence also sees ten days of community service plus a fine of $1,250 fine and court costs. Rhymes must also participate in a drink driving programme as part of his punishment.
After the hearing, Busta Rhymes said: "I couldn't feel better, and this couldn't have happened at a better time. I thank the judge for giving me a chance and I thank everybody for being supportive."
