Believe it or not, but it has been five years since Mark Kozelek released the debut Sun Kil Moon album Ghosts Of The Great Highway. Now in 2008 (following 2005's Tiny Cities) he's just about to release his third long-player April.
Missing the month of April by just one day in the UK, the album will be available on March 31st via Caldo Verde, while the States get the record on the 1st of April keeping in theme with the title.
This new effort lasts 74 minutes and sees a collection of songs recorded between March and August 2007 in San Francisco and Seattle.
For the project Kozelek is joined by his usual band, but more interestingly is the list of vocal contributions courtesy of Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Ben Gibbard and Eric Pollard (Retribution Gospel Choir).
April Track Listing:
1. Lost Verses
