The Music Announce May Tour Dates

The Music have announced the third batch of tour dates in their new "Four Cities" series.

The tour sees the newly returned band playing dates in the same four cities (London, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow), with the venues getting slightly bigger each time.

Having already sold out shows in March and April, the four-piece will now play these locations again in May - tickets go on sale at 9am this coming Friday, March 14th.

Speaking to NME.COM, front man Robert Harvey says of the tour, "the main idea was to give ourselves a chance, 'cause getting back on stage again's been quite daunting."

"Personally I've been shitting myself," he added "cause I'm a different person to what I was when we used to play, you know, I don't do the same things, I look different."

Speaking of the first sold-out leg of the tour, which The Music played last week, Harvey says "I'm still buzzing now, I'm pacing up and down the living room all the time. It were great."

"We haven't toured like this for maybe three years – the last three years have been about getting confidence back and getting an album together that's worth releasing. We're back where we fucking belong."
