Metallica To Release New Album In September

Metallica have been recording their next album and it should be released in September according to the band.

The album is the long overdue follow-up to 2003's St Anger and is currently untitled. It was recorded in Los Angeles with acclaimed producer Rick Rubin.

Talking to BBC 6Music, drummer Lars Ulrich says: "We're just finishing up a record, we've got six weeks left and it should be out in September, that's the idea right now."
