The Fabric club have launched an online petition to get jailed DJ Grooverider released from a Dubai prison, following his arrest for possessing marijuana.
The petition, which can be found here, has already had 10,000 people sign it, who feel his four-year sentence was too strong,
Fabric say of the cause, that the drum 'n' bass DJ's sentence was "ridiculously excessive" and they hoped the petition "might help challenge this sentence and proceed in the very least to having Grooverider deported home as soon as possible."
They do however, say they are not "here to offer social or cultural commentary on another country's values systems".
