The Notwist are back and with them, they are bringing their first album in six years - The Devil, You + Me.

The time away since 2002's Neon Golden hasn't been wasted though, as in the meantime the members have between them released a host of offshoot records; there has been two Tied & Tickled Trio albums, one by 13 & God, a MS John Soda LP, a Console long-player, 1 x Lali Puna and finally, the "LICHTER" soundtrack."

Back to the new album; apparently the group worked with a 20+ classical orchestra called Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, who specialise in an "exciting and bizarre avant classical interpretation of modern jazz".

The Notwist then processed the recordings and the eleven tracks featured on The Devil, You + Me are said to deal with themes like love, loss, alienation, the alignment of planets, good lies, death and refusal.
