Bone Thugs-N-Harmony must pay a concert promoter more than $200,000 in damages, after the Cleveland rap group failed to show up for a planned tour of Japan, back in 2006.
NBC Los Angeles reports that the band had an agreement with Japanese promotion company World Mix Entertainment LTD to perform in Nagoya and Okinawa in Japan in December 2006, but they never arrived to fulfill their commitments.
This led to World Mix filing a lawsuit against them during 2007, after they claimed they were forced to pay for ticket refunds, as well air fare and costs for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, on top of promotional costs.
On Thursday last week (February 28th), US District Judge Dean Pregerson ruled the rappers must pay World Mix $205,510.40 in for damages, interest and court costs.
