The Pigeon Detectives Emergency : The Band Leak New Album Details

The Pigeon Detectives have finished their second album with producer Stephen Street and also revealed the first details of the record.

The follow-up to debut album Wait For Me is named Emergency and will be released on May 26th. The Leeds quintet have once again stuck with the Dance To The Radio label, who will also release the record's first single This Is An Emergency on May 12th.

Talking about the release, vocalist Matt Bowman says: "Emergency could describe the last 12 months. It's been fairly frantic, everything's been going at breakneck speed between gigs and touring and festivals. I think we've definitely written a record rather than a number of songs to play live."

And speaking about the band live, The Pigeon Detectives are going to embark on a lengthy trek around the UK and Ireland in May and June - including two large homecoming shows in Leeds at the Millenium Square.
