Jay-Z Appears On New Lil' Wayne Album The Carter III

Lil' Wayne has revealed he will be working with Jay-Z on his new album The Carter III, along with a few familiar faces like Busta Rhymes and Ludacris.

This isn't the first time Wayne and Jay-Z have collaborated, as both appeared on the latter's American Gangster album song Hello Brooklyn. Although a definite release date has yet to be confirmed, an April issue is expected.

The New Orleans rapper told MTV News why the new record keeps getting delayed: "I make it worse for Universal. I keep doing new songs every other day. I don't stop working, so I don't know when they gonna get that. Everything I do be better than the last, like, 'Oh, this gotta make the album!'"

Wayne has also revealed recently that production on The Carter III will include work from Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Alchemist and Cool & Dre, while other contributions come from Hurricane Chris, Lil Mama, Juelz Santana, Corey Gunz and Fabolous amongst others, reports SixShot.com
