Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons, Radiohead Nominated For NME Awards

Arctic Monkeys are leading this year's NME Awards, with a record seven nominations for the annual event.
Amongst their nominations, the band are up for Best Album (against Radiohead, Klaxons, The Enemy and Babyshambles), Best Track and Best British Band. The latter sees the group competing against Babyshambles, The Cribs, Klaxons and Muse.
Kate Nash, Jack Penate, Jamie T, Amy Winehouse and Patrick Wolf are all fighting for the Best Solo Artist category, while Winehouse is also nominated for Villain Of The Year, against Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Tony Blair and George Bush.
The results for the 2008 NME Awards will be announced on February 28th at an award ceremony held in London. We'll post the results as soon as they are revealed.
