Peckham newcomers The Metros have signed with 1965 Records for their debut single and the next two months will also see them touring pretty heavily.
On March 17th, the Baxter Dury-produced Education Pt.2 will be released as an enhanced CD, 7" and a 7" picture disc. The normal 7" includes a cover version of Gabrielle - as released by Shane MacGowan's first band The Nipple Erectors.
Shortly before the tour begins, The Metros are to hold a special Valentines Day event in London, named a Night Out For A Tenner. As the title suggests, £10 will be the entry fee, but gans handing over their cash will also be given pie, mash and liquor, as well as entry to the show. If that wasn't enough, you also get a free drink inside and 3 alternative downloadable versions of Education Pt.2'
