Snoleoparden To Release Album On Rump Recordings

Rump Recordings are branching out for their next release - the debut album by Snoleoparden, which acts as the first non-electronic release for the label.

Described as a record that delves into everything from psych folk and world music, to minimal xylophone pieces, Pakistani folk songs and Danish pop songs with childrens choir, the LP is certainly seeing a strong shift in direction for the label, that has previously released material by Acustic, Badun and Rumpistol.

Amazingly, in 1998 Snoleoparden spent a year in India as a sitar-student under Ravi Shankar, and the following year in 1999, he was also part of Ravi Shankar's live-group on a tour in the UK.
