Our Brother The Native made one of our favourite albums during 2006 (Tooth & Claw - read our review) and now the three-piece are preparing album number 2; Make Amends, For We Are Merely Vessels.
Again FatCat will be doing the honours in releasing the long-player, which is due on 18th of February as a CD and download (sadly, no 12" is being pressed for the vinyl fans).

The recording sees the trio moving away from the spastic-folk of their debut, pushing towards a more cinematic, post-rock and noise angle.
The new songs are also more sample-based and use much more electronics than can be heard on their first offering.
Speaking of the album, band member Chaz Knapp says it is about "internal struggles, human emotions and how we deal with one another."
